Crypto exchange Binance named Jarred Winn as the Senior Vice President of Binance Charity.

“We are excited to welcome Jarred [Winn] to the Binance family and look forward to his integral role in strengthening our philanthropic efforts and growth in the US and globally,” said Helen Hai, Head of Binance Charity.

In a press release detailing the announcement, Winn will focus on increasing the participation of the crypto community in philanthropic efforts. He will facilitate engagement with donors and beneficiaries globally while focusing on the United States.

Winn’s qualifications include over 10 years of experience in marketing and business development. He is an expert in partnerships, marketing and growth strategy in the blockchain and fintech space.

He has helped startups grow into sustainable and nationally-recognized organizations. Winn is also the founder and CEO of Winnn.solutions, a tech-focused marketing agency. He also led the partnerships and operations at Mindful Miracle Schools, a non-profit preschool in California. Both organizations will continue to operate as Winn steps back into an advisory role.

For his new role, Winn is hoping to contribute to the mass adoption of blockchain technology by promoting education and awareness. He also plans to demonstrate the benevolent capabilities of blockchain. He will work with the Binance Charity team to build trust with blockchain stakeholders and fully utilize the transparency of the technology.

“My short-term goal is to develop strong strategic partnerships in the United States within government, institutions, and the community. My long-term goal is that the crypto community will become known as one of the greatest and most well-known supporters of philanthropy; subsequently resulting in greater adoption and less fear,” said Winn.

Binance Charity aims to achieve 100% transparency in philanthropy. In addition, the not-for-profit organization wants to redefine the process by making sure that all donations are distributed directly to the beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, blockchain technology is also used in combating coronavirus. It is used to track drug supply chains and medical supplies, manage medical data, identify symptoms of infection, and track donations.
