The new card is the result of a collaboration with GRID, which was introduced by [Troncard](<https://troncard.io/>) as a prepaid solution for buying, holding, and gifting TRX.

Troncard is proud to announce its first partnership. GRID X BitTorrent celebrates the introduction of the [$BTT](<https://twitter.com/search?q=%24BTT&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>) token on the decentralized file sharing platform.

According to [Chepicap](<https://www.chepicap.com/en/news/7433/bittorrent-launches-btt-card-in-partnership-with-tron-trx-.html>), the card is a combination wallet and prepaid card, which will store cryptocurrency and allow users to make payment via crypto in a physical item.

Last month, the public sale of BitTorrent Tokens (BTT) was conducted on Binance Launchpad – the token sale platform by leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance. The token sale, which followed the [acquisition](<https://www.econotimes.com/TRON-founder-Justin-Sun-confirms-BitTorrent-acquisition-1407694>) of BitTorrent by TRON last year, offered 59.8 billion BTT (approximately $7.2 million) and was sold out in less than 20 minutes.

Earlier this month, [CoinPayments added support for BitTorrent](<https://www.tokenpost.com/Crypto-payment-gateway-CoinPayments-adds-support-for-BitTorrent-BTT-1237>) (BTT) tokens, allowing customers to use BTT to purchase goods and services from hundreds of online merchants.
