# Pudgy Penguins Launches 12-Product Essentials Collection

Pudgy Penguins launched a 12-product collection of everyday goods Sept. 22, extending the NFT brand’s move into physical products, retail and licensing.

The Pudgy Essentials line includes stickers, stationery, stress balls and water bottles. It adds another physical-product category to the project’s consumer-focused strategy.

Pudgy Penguins began as a collection of 8,888 NFTs on Ethereum in July 2021. In May, the project outlined expansion into retail, licensing and lifestyle categories, including a partnership with IT’SUGAR covering approximately 105 locations.

The brand also identified Perfect Pair as its first lifestyle collection. Its consumer-product push now spans collectibles, retail placements and everyday goods.

PENGU, the project’s fungible token, operates on Solana and has a maximum supply of 88,888,888,888 tokens. The community was allocated 25.9% of the supply under the project’s allocation plan.

The Essentials launch broadens Pudgy Penguins’ presence beyond its original NFT collection and adds a new product category to its expanding lifestyle business.
