# AI Agent Startup Ema Raises $77 Million in Series B

AI agent startup Ema has completed a $77 million Series B led by Creaegis, giving the company fresh capital to expand its market operations.

Existing investors Accel, Section 32 and Prosus also participated. The financing brings Ema’s total funding to $140 million, while its valuation has more than doubled from its previous round in 2024.

Founded in 2023 by former Google and Coinbase executive Surojit Chatterjee and former Okta executive Souvik Sen, Ema develops systems that coordinate multiple AI agents. The technology is designed to carry out multistep business processes across the applications companies already use, rather than handle only isolated tasks.

Most of the new capital will support market expansion after Ema’s earlier focus on product development.
