# KB Securities, Securitize and Optimism Plan Tokenized Funds

KB Securities, Securitize and Optimism have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop tokenized financial products on OP Mainnet for South Korean institutional investors.

The initial lineup will include a tokenized money market fund and a fund based on KB’s flagship strategy. The products will target institutions as South Korea develops its regulatory framework for tokenized securities.

KB Securities will originate, issue and distribute the funds. Securitize will provide the tokenization platform, fund management and transfer agency services, while Optimism will supply technical infrastructure built on its OP Stack.

The partnership’s scope may expand as the regulatory framework develops. Potential future products include tokenized stocks, American depositary receipts, corporate bonds and South Korean government bonds.
