# Metaplex Positions Vantage as a Solana Asset Trading Platform

Metaplex is presenting Vantage as a Solana asset-trading platform that would broaden its ecosystem beyond token creation and token launches.

Vantage is positioned as a trading platform for researching, tracking and trading Solana-based assets. The product would expand Metaplex’s role into tools for navigating on-chain markets.

Metaplex’s ecosystem includes the Metaplex App, which launched in February 2026 for discovering, trading and launching tokens through Metaplex protocols. The company also announced Genesis in July 2025 as a framework for on-chain token offerings.

Metaplex lists more than $14 billion in cumulative trading volume, more than 1 billion transactions powered and more than 1 billion digital assets created across its ecosystem.

The Vantage initiative places the product within Metaplex’s broader push to support on-chain asset activity on Solana. Its stated focus covers market research, asset tracking and trading, with the platform positioned for users following Solana-based markets.
