# Coinbase Suspends IoTeX Trading Across Its U.S. Platforms

Coinbase suspended trading in IoTeX (IOTX) on Sept. 23, removing buying and selling across Coinbase.com, Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Prime for customers.

The suspension took effect at about 2 p.m. ET (1800 UTC) after Coinbase reviewed supported assets against its listing standards. IOTX order books entered limit-only mode before the halt, allowing customers to place or cancel limit orders while matches could still occur.

Customer holdings remain accessible and withdrawable. The trading suspension affects market activity on Coinbase but does not automatically convert or seize users’ assets.

Coinbase’s market-status guidance defines “trading disabled” as a halt in trading for the affected market.
