> The organization also unveiled CLPR, a bridgeless cross-ledger messaging lab, and highlighted Panurus, an enterprise tokenization project launched in June.

Swift and Wells Fargo joined 13 other organizations in LF Decentralized Trust, expanding the Linux Foundation-backed blockchain group’s membership as institutions develop tokenized assets, stablecoins and central bank digital currencies.

LF Decentralized Trust announced the additions Sept. 24. Swift, Wells Fargo and Zeeve are rejoining the organization.

Swift and Wells Fargo joined as general members. Ethereum Institutional, EUROPEUM and Fenasbac joined as associate members.

“Joining LF Decentralized Trust gives us another important forum,” said Jonathan Ehrenfeld, Head of Strategy at Swift.

“The future of financial services will require greater interoperability, trust, and collaboration,” said Chintan Mehta, Wells Fargo CIO and Head of Digital Technology & Innovation.

LF Decentralized Trust is the Linux Foundation’s open-source organization for blockchain, ledger, identity and cryptographic technologies. Its membership expansion comes as financial institutions explore tokenized assets, stablecoins and central bank digital currencies.

LF Decentralized Trust also unveiled CLPR, pronounced “clipper,” a Hedera-contributed lab where the Hashgraph team is developing messaging between ledgers without bridges. The lab uses state proofs, allowing independent blockchain networks to verify each other’s states.

The organization highlighted Panurus, a platform-neutral token infrastructure project that succeeds the Hyperledger Fabric Token SDK lab. Panurus launched as an incubating LF Decentralized Trust project June 22, 2026, with a focus on privacy, performance and compliance for enterprise tokenization.

Panurus had been used in wholesale central bank digital currency experiments involving the Banque de France and Bank of Canada.

LF Decentralized Trust scheduled an invite-only technical workshop in New York City for Oct. 22-23, 2026.
