> The semiconductor company has no cryptocurrency remaining on its balance sheet after selling 314 BTC in September.

Sequans Communications has sold its final 314 Bitcoin (BTC), ending its corporate cryptocurrency treasury strategy and leaving no digital assets on its balance sheet.

The NYSE-listed semiconductor company began unwinding the strategy in May, when it used part of its Bitcoin holdings to redeem all remaining convertible debt issued in July 2025. Sequans held about 658 BTC at that point and said the remaining assets would be monetized over time.

Its holdings had declined to 314 BTC by June 30 before the final sale in September. The company now has no outstanding debt apart from obligations connected to government-funded research and development programs.

CEO Georges Karam said Sequans monetized the remaining holdings in a “measured and opportunistic manner.” The company is shifting its full attention to its semiconductor growth strategy after the balance-sheet restructuring.

Sequans also reported that product revenue rose more than 80% year over year in the second quarter, while its six-month product backlog more than tripled. The company’s next step is to focus on that core business without cryptocurrency assets on its balance sheet.
