> Higher Brent prices have offset sharply lower shipments, while exports through the East-West pipeline to Yanbu resume at about 3.5 million barrels per day.

Saudi Arabia’s annualized oil export revenue has climbed to about $210 billion from $150 billion before the Iran war, as higher crude prices have more than offset reduced shipments.

The estimated annualized revenue amounts to more than 6% of Saudi Arabia’s gross domestic product. Robin Brooks, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, described the kingdom as “perhaps the only winner in this war.”

Saudi Arabia shipped about 7 million barrels of oil per day before the conflict began in February. Volumes fell to less than 4 million barrels per day in March and April before recovering to about 5.5 million barrels per day in September.

Brent crude futures have gained roughly 75% this year and trade near $107 per barrel, lifting revenue despite the lower export volumes.

U.S. military protection of tankers has helped restore much of Saudi Arabia’s oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz. The support has also allowed the kingdom to shift shipments back toward Persian Gulf ports after attacks disrupted its East-West pipeline route.

The pipeline has since resumed exports to Yanbu, restoring a Red Sea route that bypasses the strait. Flows have reached about 3.5 million barrels per day, while the pipeline’s stated capacity is 7 million barrels per day. TokenPost previously covered the restart of Saudi Arabia’s East-West pipeline.

The kingdom remains exposed to attacks on its energy infrastructure, while Houthi forces have solidified their control over the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a key Red Sea oil chokepoint.

If eastern shipments remain elevated while Yanbu loadings recover, total Saudi exports could rise above levels recorded before the pipeline attacks. The projection depends on continued flows through both the kingdom’s eastern ports and its Red Sea terminal.
