> The Boston supply-chain software startup sold the full offering under Rule 506(b), with no balance remaining after its Sept. 1 first sale.

DVx Atomic Co., the legal entity behind Boston supply-chain software startup Atomic, reported selling $18,510,980 in equity to 13 investors in a Form D filed Sept. 16, giving the company a fully sold offering under Rule 506(b).

The filing lists $0 remaining in the offering and identifies Sept. 1 as the date of first sale. It was accepted at 1:25:46 p.m. ET (17:25:46 UTC) on Sept. 16.

Michael Rossiter is listed as Atomic’s CEO and director. Rossiter and Neal Suidan founded the company after working on supply-chain planning at Tesla during the 2018 Model 3 production ramp.

Atomic develops software for production, inventory, purchasing and response planning. Its product is designed to let operators and artificial intelligence execute supply plans together.

Rossiter described the role of AI in the system as a way to navigate complex planning decisions.

“AI can play the role of finding all of the best paths through that forest,” Rossiter said.

Atomic previously announced a $3 million seed round in May 2025 backed by DVx Ventures and Madrona. Jon McNeill, the former Tesla president and founder of DVx Ventures, said the product had advanced from providing recommendations to making decisions autonomously.

“The product has evolved from being an optimization platform that gives recommendations to a platform that not only gives recommendations but it makes decisions, so it’s fully autonomous in that sense,” McNeill said.

The company’s founders developed Atomic after spreadsheets could not keep pace with changing supply-chain plans during Tesla’s production ramp. The new equity offering gives the startup additional capital as it develops software aimed at automating planning work across complex supply networks.
