Anchorage Digital will provide institutional custody and settlement infrastructure for Puffer UniFi, supporting stablecoin activity and payments on the Ethereum network.

The companies announced the partnership Sept. 29. Anchorage Digital, the first federally licensed digital-asset bank in the United States, will act as Puffer UniFi’s institutional custodian.

The initiative includes stablecoin issuance and settlement, native on-chain clearing, institutional payments and agent payments. The companies said the work is intended to support traditional financial institutions conducting native operations on Ethereum.

Puffer Finance is building Puffer UniFi as an Ethereum execution and settlement network for institutions, trading platforms and commercial applications involving agents.
