Hyperliquid Labs plans to unlock about $320 million worth of HYPE on Sept. 30, with the tokens intended for a monthly team distribution and an institutional over-the-counter sale.

The planned unlock covers HYPE tokens allocated to the team’s monthly distribution schedule. The tokens would be sold directly to an institution rather than through a public exchange market.

The transaction combines a scheduled team token release with an OTC sale.
