# MEXC Adds 1,000 Bitcoin to Guardian Fund, Reaching 2,000 BTC

MEXC added 1,000 Bitcoin (BTC) to its Guardian Fund, bringing the fund’s holdings to 2,000 BTC alongside 100 million USDT, with its wallet address public for on-chain verification.

The addition was announced Sept. 30 and was the fund’s second major Bitcoin allocation this year. It follows the first 1,000 BTC added in May as a long-term reserve alongside the fund’s USDT liquidity reserve.

In May, MEXC also committed to expanding the fund from $100 million to $500 million over two years.
