> The humanoid-robotics company will receive an initial $3.5 billion in computing capacity, with the commitment intended to exceed $6 billion.

Figure plans to deploy up to 100,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin GPUs through a partnership with Nscale, linking the humanoid-robotics company’s model development and robot production to Nvidia’s computing infrastructure.

The agreement includes an initial $3.5 billion in computing capacity, with the commitment intended to exceed $6 billion. Initial deployment is targeted for the second half of 2027 in Barstow, Texas.

Nscale is making a strategic investment in Figure and will serve as the company’s preferred computing partner. The amount of Nscale’s investment was not disclosed.

Brett Adcock founded Figure in 2022 to build general-purpose humanoid robots. The company plans to use Nvidia Vera Rubin systems through Nscale to train its models and deploy them on Nvidia GPUs inside its robots.

“Our AI model, Helix, becomes more capable the same way every learned system does: with more data and compute,” Figure founder and CEO Brett Adcock said.

Figure’s Series C round announced more than $1 billion in committed capital on Sept. 16, 2025, at a $39 billion post-money valuation. Parkway Venture Capital led the financing, which included Figure’s other listed participants: Brookfield Asset Management, Nvidia, Macquarie Capital, Intel Capital, Align Ventures, Tamarack Global, LG Technology Ventures, Salesforce, T-Mobile Ventures and Qualcomm Ventures.

The Series C funding is intended to support robot production, development of Figure’s Helix model, GPU infrastructure and real-world data collection. It is also intended to accelerate efforts to bring general-purpose humanoid robots into real-world environments at scale.
