> The company holds 6,016,414 ETH, or about 4.9% of circulating supply, and needs roughly 100,000 more tokens to reach its stated limit.

Bitmine plans to stop buying Ether (ETH) once its holdings reach 5% of the cryptocurrency’s circulating supply, setting a firm ceiling for one of the market’s largest corporate accumulation programs.

Chairman Tom Lee said the company currently holds 6,016,414 ETH, equal to about 4.9% of circulating supply. Bitmine needs roughly 100,000 additional tokens to reach the target.

At the pace of its purchases last week, the company could take six to seven weeks to close the gap. The timeline may change if its weekly buying rate changes.

Bitmine began its Ethereum treasury strategy in June 2025 and has continued purchasing ETH each week. Reaching 5% would mark the planned endpoint of that accumulation strategy, rather than an announcement of further purchases beyond the threshold.
