Former White House senior AI adviser Sriram Krishnan is seeking about $500 million for a new fund targeting growth-stage AI companies tied to U.S. national-security priorities.

The planned venture-capital fund is in its early stages. The $500 million figure is a fundraising target, not confirmed capital raised, and no first close or formal launch has been confirmed.

Krishnan served as the White House senior AI adviser from January 2025 through June 2026. A June 5, 2026 White House memorandum described artificial intelligence as important to U.S. national security and directed work toward an AI National Security Strategic Reserve of nongovernmental talent.

Krishnan also co-runs Kearny Jackson, whose Fund III launched in July 2024 with $65 million in committed capital. That fund focuses on early-stage B2B software, infrastructure and fintech companies.

A Securities and Exchange Commission Form D identifies Krishnan as a related person and director of entities linked to Kearny Jackson Fund III. The filing does not concern the planned $500 million fund.

The planned fund’s name, legal structure, domicile, investors, fees, investment committee and portfolio have not been confirmed. Its first close and formal launch also remain unconfirmed.
