> September listings reached 1,241, up more than 220% from July, while published application totals varied across three datasets.

Crypto job postings rose to 1,241 in September from 382 in July, an increase of more than 220%, while application totals declined across two published reporting series covering the same period.

The monthly posting count reached 886 in August before rising to 1,241 in September. The number of companies hiring also increased, reaching 125 in September from 107 in July and 73 in August.

One published series lists 26,728 applications in July, 24,641 in August and 19,605 in September. A separate dashboard lists 25,474 applications in July, 23,494 in August and 20,618 in September. An earlier July analysis listed 30,215 applications for that month.

The differences mean the direction of the trend is consistent, but the exact application totals are not. The dashboard counts applications submitted directly through the platform and through third-party redirects, and its figures reflect internal platform activity rather than the entire global crypto labor market.

Finance was the largest job category over the latest three-month period, with 471 listings, followed by engineering with 347 and trading with 336. Stablecoin, artificial intelligence, operations, security and compliance roles also appeared among the tracked categories.

Bitcoin led blockchain-related demand with 178 listings, followed by Ethereum with 109 and Solana with 65.

Richard Botley, Research & Marketing at CryptoJobsList, said, “Our numbers over the past three months show open roles ramping up significantly, even as applicant volume leveled out.”

The figures show more listed roles alongside lower application volumes, but they do not establish why the gap widened or prove a broader global labor-market trend. The available data remains limited to activity measured through the platform.
