Traders can place or cancel limit orders, and eligible orders may match. Market orders are unavailable while the pair remains in this mode. The move followed an auction scheduled to last at least 10 minutes. The auction began at 11:18 a.m. ET (15:18 UTC), and orders could be submitted during the auction, but no trades were matched. Coinbase identified WHUF as a Base asset and listed its contract address as 0xeeee77bC7e82c0d4166d52F58239D4c5Bf41eeee. Deposits remained unavailable until the asset issuer unlocked transfers. WHUF is the native token of Ethos Network, an on-chain reputation protocol. Ethos describes the token as supporting the network’s reputation and vouching system. The Ethos public sale ran from Sept. 1-4, with tokens distributed at the Sept. 8 token-generation event. The sale cleared at $4.20 per token, and the tokens remained locked until Oct. 8.
