Decrypt has put Money Accounts live on Solana, creating a self-custodial account system intended to support The Information Exchange and let users access several financial products through one balance. The accounts use Tether (USDT) for Earn, swaps, prediction markets and perpetual futures. Additional products are planned as the broader platform rolls out in stages over the coming weeks leading into Solana Breakpoint. The Information Exchange combines crypto news, market data, prices, probabilities and direct participation in financial products. Decrypt previously announced the project as a Solana-based network, with Myriad providing infrastructure and MYR serving as its economic coordination layer. Decrypt does not hold users’ private keys or transact on their behalf, while private-key export is planned as a future feature. Fee-payer co-signing sponsors Solana gas fees and rent, so users do not need to maintain a Solana (SOL) balance for network costs. Existing Myriad Wallet users can use the new accounts without moving to a separate wallet, with the Myriad wallet becoming the new account. The system is also designed to connect with Myriad prediction markets. Myriad’s primary protocol deployment is on BNB Smart Chain, while Money Accounts operate on Solana. Users are intended to access markets that may settle on another network through the Solana-based account. “Our goal is simple: one account, one balance, and access to every financial instrument, directly from where you already consume information,” said Ilan Hazan, co-founder of Decrypt.
