> The Series A brings Gallatin’s stated total funding to $70 million and will expand its Navigator software for military sustainment operations.

Gallatin AI has raised $50 million in Series A financing to expand its artificial-intelligence software for military logistics and strengthen Navigator, its platform for tracking readiness and sustainment operations.

The El Segundo, California-based company said its total funding has reached $70 million. The round includes 8VC, Silent Ventures and other new and existing investors, while Gallatin did not disclose a lead investor.

Navigator brings logistics information and operational workflows into a single readiness view. The platform supports vehicle readiness, supply coordination, medical operations and other sustainment functions, including the management of fuel, medical supplies and munitions.

Gallatin said U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force customers use Navigator for tactical, operational and strategic planning. The software has also been deployed with U.S. military units supporting exercises from Japan to Alaska to Europe.

The new capital will support additional engineering and product development, as well as a wider set of AI-enabled sustainment capabilities across the Joint Logistics Enterprise. Gallatin is headquartered in El Segundo and has offices in Washington, D.C., and Austin, Texas.

The company did not disclose contract values, customer counts or revenue. Its next step is to use the financing to expand Navigator and develop additional logistics capabilities for military customers.
