Trinity Capital Inc. reported $880 million in new third-quarter commitments, bringing its 2026 originations to $2 billion and highlighting the scale of its lending activity this year.

The business development company funded $614 million in gross investments during the quarter across 39 portfolio companies. The total included $378 million in secured loans, $159 million in equipment financings and $77 million in equity and warrants.

Trinity Capital also recorded $495 million in repayments and exits during the period. The company’s quarterly activity combined new commitments and funded investments with the return of capital from existing positions.
