# CleanSpark Mined 529 Bitcoin in September After $2.276 Billion Debt Deal

CleanSpark mined 529 Bitcoin (BTC) in September 2026 and held 13,530 BTC at month-end after completing a previously announced $2.276 billion senior secured note offering.

The company will use the financing to cover remaining construction costs at its Sandersville data center, reimburse certain prior equity contributions and establish debt-service reserves. CleanSpark had signed a 20-year lease valued at $6.6 billion for the project.

The senior secured notes mature in 2031 and carry a 7.875% annual interest rate. CleanSpark [completed the $2.276 billion senior secured note offering](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/24496>) through the financing.

The September 2026 operating figures were unaudited. CleanSpark will move to quarterly operating updates aligned with the energy and data-center industries and discontinue its monthly releases.
