An estimate puts Strive’s SATA preferred-stock proceeds at about $55 million, enough for an estimated 638 Bitcoin (BTC), though no such purchase was confirmed as of Oct. 10.

The estimate covers the week beginning Oct. 5 and values the potential buying capacity at Bitcoin prices near $82,800. It does not establish that Strive completed a purchase or generated the full amount in proceeds.

Strive’s latest filing confirms a separate purchase of 2,000 Bitcoin between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2. The company held 29,462 BTC as of Oct. 2 after buying the coins at an average cost of about $84,422 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses.

SATA trading volume reached $317 million during the week beginning Oct. 5. SATA shares outstanding increased by 1,304,902 from Sept. 25 to 13,498,082 as of Oct. 2, but the filing did not disclose how much cash the increase generated.

SATA is a variable-rate perpetual preferred stock that Strive uses as part of its financing strategy for expanding its Bitcoin treasury. The filing does not establish that SATA proceeds directly funded the separate 2,000-Bitcoin acquisition.

As of Sept. 30, Strive disclosed 28,000 BTC, $284.7 million in cash and cash equivalents, $1.294 billion in SATA stated amount and $168.228 million in annualized preferred-stock obligations.

“The Company believes Bitcoin is attractively priced at current levels,” Strive said. The company also said, “The Company intends to remain debt-free.”

The financing approach resembles Strategy’s use of preferred securities to support Bitcoin purchases. Strategy bought 334 BTC from Oct. 1 through Oct. 4 for $28.7 million, bringing its holdings to 848,000 BTC as of 4 p.m. ET (20:00 UTC) Oct. 4. It sold no STRC shares during that period and repurchased 740,634 STRC shares for $73.7 million.

Strive’s filing also said the company created a SATA repurchase facility of up to $500 million and is targeting an Amplification Ratio above 60% while Bitcoin remains below $100,000.
