First Investment Bank (Fibank) plans to integrate crypto-asset investment services into its My Fibank mobile banking app, potentially giving more than 1 million customers access through a platform they already use.

The service is expected to launch in early 2027. Bitpanda Enterprise, Bitpanda’s institutional division, will provide the underlying digital-asset infrastructure, while Bitpanda will exclusively provide the crypto-asset services.

The planned integration would make Fibank the first bank in Bulgaria to offer crypto-asset investment services directly through its banking app. The rollout will bring the service into the bank’s existing digital platform rather than requiring customers to use a separate application.
