Nasdaq-listed SVRN has announced the acquisition of FastNEAR, a provider of RPC, archival and data infrastructure for the NEAR network.

Financial terms were not disclosed. FastNEAR will become SVRN’s wholly owned subsidiary and its first operating business outside its asset-reserve operations.

The company processes more than 3.5 billion requests monthly and provides over 100 terabytes of data services. FastNEAR’s RPC services, archival infrastructure and NEARDATA platform will continue to be operated by its existing team after the transaction.

FastNEAR co-founders Evgeny Kuzyakov and Mike Purvis will join SVRN. The company also plans to invest in improving system reliability and increasing service capacity.

FastNEAR will be SVRN’s first operating business outside its asset-reserve operations.
