HCLTech will establish a dedicated Anthropic business unit to expand enterprise use of Claude across software, IT services and AI-agent solutions under a global premier partnership announced Oct. 12.

The unit will include a center of excellence focused on AI-agent solutions. Frontline deployment engineers will work with customers in controlled environments, help adjust development processes and train employees to deploy AI agents at scale.

HCLTech’s software division, HCLSoftware, will integrate Claude into products spanning cybersecurity, automation, business processes and application development. Products identified for integration include HCL BigFix endpoint-management software and HCL AppScan application-security tools. Claude will also be enabled in Actian’s AI analytics tools.

HCLTech’s AI Force software-engineering platform will integrate Claude and Claude Code for IT support, code remediation and digital-employee services. Human review will remain required for high-impact changes.

The partnership expands Anthropic’s reach through a technology services company with more than 223,000 employees in 60 countries. HCLTech’s customers include organizations in financial services, manufacturing, health care, telecommunications, semiconductors and the public sector.

HCLTech reported $14.8 billion in revenue for the 12 months through June 2026. The company said its partnership with Anthropic combines the scale of a global systems integrator with the product depth of a software provider.
