Scuba has raised $34 million to build a shared context tool for workplace teams and AI agents, with a limited beta opening to teams in waves.

Accel led the pre-seed round and co-led the seed round with IVP. BoxGroup, Conviction, Homebrew and Scribble Ventures also participated. The funding will support product expansion, hiring and go-to-market efforts.

The service groups workplace material into shared Collections. It supports Captures of documents, screenshots, messages and voice notes. AI agents connected through the Model Context Protocol can read and create Captures.

Scuba co-founder and CEO Noah Desai Weiss previously served as Slack’s chief product officer. Co-founder Dolapo Falola most recently led engineering at The Browser Company. Hundreds of early users tried Scuba during a six-month private beta.

“The frontier models aren't intelligence bound. They're context constrained,” Weiss said.
