> The January-to-September 2026 tally fell 28% from a year earlier even as estimated sales rose for a third straight quarter.

A U.S. market estimate puts Tesla Cybertruck sales at 70,788 from January 2024 through September 2026, a cumulative figure that shows how the model’s recent pace compares with earlier years.

The estimate combines 38,965 vehicles in 2024, 20,237 in 2025 and 11,586 in the first nine months of 2026. The 2024 figure is the first full calendar-year count in the series. Estimated sales fell 48.1% in 2025 from the prior year.

The 2026 count was 28% below the 16,097 estimated for January through September 2025. That comparison covers the same nine months in each year, while the 48.1% decline compares full-year totals.

Quarterly estimates climbed from 3,519 in Q1 2026 to 3,744 in Q2 and 4,323 in Q3. The third-quarter estimate remained 19.7% below the 5,385 vehicles counted for Q3 2025. The sequential gains show improvement during 2026, while the year-over-year comparison leaves the latest quarter below its 2025 level.

The broader U.S. electric vehicle market reached an estimated 262,649 sales in Q3, up 6.1% from Q2 but down 39.5% from a year earlier. EVs represented about 6.4% of new-vehicle sales. The figures add a model-level view to [the broader U.S. EV market’s third-quarter rebound](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/32031>). Stephanie Valdez Streaty, director of Industry Insights at Cox Automotive, said, “What we’re seeing now is a market finding its footing again.”

Tesla delivered 486,532 vehicles globally in Q3, including 8,295 in “Other Models,” with no separate Cybertruck count. That global category does not provide a comparable U.S. Cybertruck total, so the 70,788 figure remains a market estimate rather than a cumulative number Tesla has disclosed.

The estimate begins in January 2024 and excludes any Cybertrucks delivered in 2023. First deliveries began in November 2023, leaving the estimate short of the truck’s full launch-to-date period.
