> The schedule sets $0.00614 per share for each of 19 business days. It starts Nov. 1, while the 14% rate is also described as effective Nov. 2.

DeFi Development Corp. declared $184,469 in November dividends for CHAD, with payments of $0.00614 per share across 19 business days and the first payment scheduled for Nov. 2.

The schedule covers Nov. 1 through Nov. 30. The start of the 14% rate is stated two ways: dividend periods begin Nov. 1, while Nov. 2 is identified as the effective date. Nov. 2 is also the first scheduled payment date.

CHAD is DeFi Development's Nasdaq-listed variable-rate Series C perpetual preferred stock. Its 14% annual rate is calculated against a $10 stated amount, equal to $1.40 per share annually at that amount, up from $1.30 at the prior 13% rate. The realized yield depends on CHAD's market price.

The declaration follows the earlier [plan to raise CHAD's rate from 13% to 14%](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/32780>). DeFi Development plans to use proceeds from future CHAD issuance to expand its Solana (SOL) treasury and increase SOL per share. Its $300 million at-the-market CHAD program provides potential capacity for future issuance. The company put its treasury at 2,586,282 SOL and SOL equivalents on Oct. 12, after adding about 22,070 over the previous week.

The treasury earns returns through staking, validator operations and other strategies, but those rewards may not be enough to support CHAD dividends. Later dividends remain subject to declaration and legally available funds.
