> Strive's average purchase price was about $83,266 per coin, including fees and expenses. Warrant exercises were expected to generate $369.2 million in gross proceeds.

Strive bought 2,822 Bitcoin (BTC) from Oct. 12-13 while Strategy repurchased $192.4 million in preferred shares, showing separate capital moves by two companies with active Bitcoin treasuries.

Strive's latest purchases averaged about $83,266 per coin, including fees and expenses. Warrant exercises were expected to generate $369.2 million in gross proceeds over the same period. The disclosed figures did not tie those proceeds to the Bitcoin purchase.

Earlier in October, Strive bought 3,311 BTC from Oct. 5-9 at an average price of about $84,500, including fees and expenses. The two purchase windows show continued additions to the company's Bitcoin holdings.

Strategy repurchased 1,932,145 STRC preferred shares for $192.4 million from Oct. 5-11. No specific funding source was identified for the repurchases.

The transactions add details to the broader corporate accumulation picture covered in an [earlier corporate Bitcoin tally](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/29190>). The number of public companies holding Bitcoin rose 10% over the prior year, even as company holdings could grow through different types of transactions.

Treasury holdings can increase through acquisitions as well as market purchases. In January, Strive's acquisition of Semler Scientific brought 5,048.1 BTC that Semler already held onto Strive's balance sheet. The transfer shows why a company's increase in holdings does not necessarily represent the same amount of new market buying.
