> Glassdoor Recruiter pairs job seeker preferences with workplace ratings and Indeed listings; average recruiters per organization fell 56% from 2022 to 2025.

Glassdoor launched a U.S. job-search tool on Oct. 8 that pairs candidates’ preferences with workplace information and job listings, while average applications per job more than doubled from 2022 to 2025.

Glassdoor Recruiter is available on Glassdoor’s website and through the App Store and Google Play. The service combines workplace information from Glassdoor with openings from Indeed’s hiring marketplace. Glassdoor is part of Indeed.

Job seekers can enter preferred roles, work settings, relocation preferences, compensation and career priorities. The tool provides match scores and company ratings, along with information about factors such as experience, pay, culture and employer responsiveness. Users can apply to, save or pass on recommendations.

Candidates may also choose to make their profiles visible to employers, who can then contact them. The option gives job seekers a way to be found by employers while using the service to search for openings.

The figures span more than 6,000 companies and over 640 million applications from 2022 through 2025. Average applications per job rose to 244 in 2025 from 116 in 2022, an increase of 111%. Over the same period, average recruiters per organization fell to 4.62 from 10.43, a 56% decrease.

Glassdoor President Owen Humphries wrote, “Nobody designed a hiring process this broken on purpose.”
