Apple plans to begin selling a curated lineup of connected-home devices in December, adding partner-developed security and climate products to Apple Home’s existing catalog of compatible accessories. Select products are expected in early 2027.

Announced Oct. 13, the Apple Home Collection was developed with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric. It includes indoor, outdoor and floodlight cameras, a video doorbell, a smart deadbolt, thermostats and temperature sensors.

In the U.S., sensors start at $39.95. The indoor camera and each thermostat start at $199.95; the doorbell costs $249.95, the outdoor camera $299.95 and the deadbolt $349.95. The floodlight camera tops the range at $399.95.

The cameras and doorbell are slated for the U.S., Canada and the U.K. The deadbolt and thermostats are listed for the U.S. and Canada. The company has not specified which accessories will arrive in early 2027.

Customers can add the accessories by bringing an iPhone near them, then manage them in the Home app without a separate manufacturer app or account. All the devices support Thread. The deadbolt also supports Matter and Aliro, and its core access features work locally without an internet connection. The thermostats and sensors support Matter as well.

The cameras offer video up to 2.5K resolution. With iCloud+, customers can access 10 days of encrypted event-video history without a separate camera subscription. Home data is end-to-end encrypted and inaccessible to Apple and its development partners.

The collection joins thousands of existing accessories compatible with Apple Home and Matter. It follows Apple’s introduction of a separate [HomeView smart-home display](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/31177>), priced at $299 in the U.S. and scheduled to go on sale Nov. 13. Collection sales are set to begin in December.
