> Users must withdraw assets and replace saved receiving addresses before the app closes. Remaining balances face a 2% monthly fee, with a minimum equivalent to $100 per month.

Cobo’s consumer wallet app will close at 11 a.m. ET (16:00 UTC) Nov. 30, 2026, giving users until the [transfer deadline](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/33608>) to withdraw assets before leftover balances begin accruing monthly fees.

The cutoff corresponds to midnight UTC+8 on Dec. 1. Users should replace or remove Cobo Wallet receiving addresses saved on exchanges, mining pools and other platforms to prevent future transfers from going to an inactive wallet.

Assets remaining after the shutdown will incur a monthly account-management fee of 2% of the remaining holdings, subject to a minimum equivalent to $100 per month. Fees will be deducted in the tokens held. If an account’s total remaining value is below the $100-equivalent threshold, all its assets will be deducted in one transaction.

The first collection is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET (16:00 UTC) Dec. 31, 2026, for December’s fee. The shutdown applies only to the consumer-facing app. Cobo stopped taking new app registrations in 2021 and has concentrated on institutional wallet services since, directing institutions and enterprises to that business for continued access.
