> The plan would direct part of Arbitrum Expansion Program fees toward USDG conversion. Its off-chain temperature check is scheduled to close Oct. 22.

Entropy Advisors’ proposal would add 100 million Arbitrum (ARB) tokens to incentives for Global Dollar (USDG) and redirect part of Arbitrum Expansion Program fees, giving the stablecoin a larger role in DAO policy.

Entropy Advisors submitted the plan to ArbitrumDAO on Oct. 6. It would make USDG the focus of the DeFi Renaissance Incentive Program (DRIP), which was launched with 80 million ARB across four seasons. About 65 million ARB remains in that budget, and DRIP Season 2 is already running with those funds.

If approved, the additional 100 million ARB would raise the program’s available budget to roughly 165 million ARB. The proposal would combine Seasons 2 through 4 into one USDG-focused period, broaden eligible activities to include liquidity support and incentives for teams that integrate the stablecoin, and extend DRIP’s mandate. The added allocation and season changes remain proposals.

The plan also addresses fees from the Arbitrum Expansion Program (AEP). It would direct 20% of AEP fees to the Arbitrum Developer Guild and route the remainder, including accrued fees, to a treasury portfolio for conversion into USDG. The Arbitrum Foundation would carry out the conversions. The Arbitrum Treasury Management Council would use its existing investment-policy authority to deploy treasury assets in support of USDG growth.

The proposal builds on [USDG’s launch on Arbitrum One](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/27570>) on Oct. 6, when Arbitrum joined the Global Dollar Network. Arbitrum held approximately $4 billion in stablecoins at the time. Global Dollar Network partners receive rewards tied to the USDG they hold, mint and accept; the proposal identifies those rewards as a potential source of revenue for Arbitrum’s ecosystem.

The Arbitrum Foundation backed the plan on Oct. 7 and said it would work with ecosystem groups to support adoption and growth in total value locked (TVL). The off-chain temperature check is scheduled to close Oct. 22. If it passes, the proposal is scheduled to proceed to an on-chain vote from Oct. 29 to Nov. 12.
