> Hansoh will receive $400 million upfront and another $110 million on the collaboration’s first anniversary.

Roche and Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. announced a second cancer drug collaboration Oct. 19, covering experimental antibody-drug conjugates and offering Hansoh more than $15 billion in potential milestones.

Hansoh will receive $400 million upfront and another $110 million on the collaboration’s first anniversary. The potential milestones are tied to development, regulatory approvals and commercialization. Hansoh may also receive royalties on potential future sales.

The portfolio includes two Hansoh programs in preclinical development and several more aimed at targets proposed by Roche. All use antibody-drug conjugate technology.

Hansoh retains rights in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. It can also choose to help develop up to two programs outside those markets, potentially earning additional proceeds if the drugs are commercialized in the United States.

The collaboration follows the companies’ October 2025 agreement for HS-20110, an investigational cancer drug. That earlier deal included $80 million upfront for Hansoh and up to $1.45 billion in potential milestones. Those terms are separate from the newly announced portfolio collaboration.

“Expanding our strategic collaboration with Hansoh marks an important step in advancing our ADC vision,” said Boris L. Zaïtra, Roche’s head of corporate business development.

Hansoh will lead development through global Phase Ia trials. Roche will then take over further development outside mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
