> Four of five deals in the roundup involved infrastructure. Bitcoin gained 2.4%, while U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs recorded net outflows.

Infrastructure projects made up four of the five deals in the crypto financing roundup for the week ended Oct. 16, standing out during a week of falling overall market value and U.S. spot ETF outflows.

Bitcoin (BTC) gained 2.4% over the week, while Ether (ETH) fell 5.1%. Total crypto market value declined 2.2%, and market value excluding Bitcoin and Ether dropped 4.9%. The difference shows that Bitcoin’s gain was not shared across the broader market.

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded about $229 million in net outflows, while spot Ether funds recorded $320 million in net outflows. The Fear & Greed Index fell from 69 to 59, though it remained in the “greed” range. ETF flow figures measure money entering and leaving the funds; they do not identify whether the activity came from institutional or retail investors.

U.S. stock indexes were mixed during the same week. The Nasdaq Composite declined 4.48% and the S&P 500 lost 1.95%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.67%.

The infrastructure deals included Uniform Labs, whose Multiliquid platform supports conversions between tokenized assets and stablecoins. A seed-round close brought the company’s total funding to $8 million. That cumulative figure is not the amount raised in the seed round alone.

Fission announced on Oct. 15 that it had raised [$10 million in a Series A round](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/32524>) for its tokenized fund liquidity business. The round closed in September, before the week covered by the roundup. Fission plans to expand the range of funds it supports and its capacity to provide liquidity.
