> Relm will advise on Strongpoint’s security controls and auditability. The partnership announced no change to policy pricing.

Relm Insurance and Project Eleven will examine whether institutions’ preparations for quantum computing threats can inform digital asset insurance assessments as Relm helps develop Project Eleven’s Strongpoint custody platform.

The Oct. 20 partnership makes Relm a development partner for Strongpoint, which is being built for institutional digital asset custody. The partnership announced no change to policy pricing. The companies are exploring what evidence an insurer could use to assess an institution’s exposure to future cryptographic threats.

Their review will cover exposed cryptographic keys, signing systems, transaction approval procedures and plans to move to new cryptography. It will also consider institutions’ reliance on outside providers. Those areas could show how an institution manages risks that extend beyond any single wallet or signing tool.

Relm will provide input on Strongpoint’s security controls, auditability and evidence for insurers. The work is exploratory: any future effect on underwriting or premiums will require further evaluation and remain subject to Relm’s independent underwriting process.

Strongpoint is designed to use conventional and post-quantum signatures together. Its planned design would let institutions change signing algorithms without rebuilding their approval rules or audit history, addressing a practical part of the transition to new cryptography.

A sufficiently powerful quantum computer could eventually threaten cryptography that protects digital assets. In 2024, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) finalized three post-quantum cryptography standards and urged organizations to prepare for migration.

“Quantum computing is a clear example of an emerging threat that should shape the way we assess risk today,” said Relm Insurance founder and CEO Joseph Ziolkowski.

The insurance work follows Project Eleven’s [acquisition of cryptography engineering team Riva Labs](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/25435>) on Sept. 29, which added post-quantum wallet and signing technology to its development efforts. Project Eleven introduced Strongpoint earlier in October and is targeting production deployment in the fourth quarter of 2026.
