> Philip Morris forecasts quarterly adjusted diluted earnings of $2.29 to $2.34 per share. Altria’s 2026 forecast is $5.61 to $5.72 per share.

Philip Morris International and Altria Group will release third-quarter 2026 results on Oct. 21 and Oct. 29, respectively, giving investors updates on their nicotine pouch and cigarette businesses.

Philip Morris plans to publish its results at about 7 a.m. ET (11:00 UTC) Wednesday, Oct. 21, and hold an earnings webcast at 9 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC). Altria has scheduled its release for about 7 a.m. ET (11:00 UTC) Oct. 29, followed by a webcast at 9 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC).

Philip Morris forecasts third-quarter adjusted diluted earnings of $2.29 to $2.34 per share. Its second-quarter figures provide a reference point for the upcoming report: ZYN nicotine pouch shipments rose 2% from a year earlier to 2.9 billion pouches, while smoke-free products accounted for about 42% of net revenue.

Those figures measure different parts of the business. The ZYN total counts pouches shipped during the quarter; the smoke-free figure shows how much of Philip Morris’s net revenue came from that broader product category.

Altria’s second-quarter reported domestic cigarette shipment volume fell 3.2% from a year earlier. Its estimate adjusted for trade inventory movements showed a 4.5% decline. The adjusted measure accounts for inventory changes that affect how reported shipments compare with underlying demand.

In nicotine pouches, Altria’s on! PLUS reached 120,000 stores nationwide during the second quarter. That store count describes retail availability, rather than the number of pouches shipped, so it does not provide a direct volume comparison with Philip Morris’s ZYN figure.

Altria forecasts 2026 adjusted diluted earnings per share of $5.61 to $5.72. That range covers the full year, while Philip Morris’s $2.29-to-$2.34 forecast covers the third quarter alone. Philip Morris will report first on Oct. 21; Altria’s results follow Oct. 29.
