> The company’s broader goal is to cover all monthly cash requirements in the second calendar quarter of 2027, though it may still need outside financing after that.

Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX) is targeting monthly operating cash break-even in January 2027, a milestone that excludes debt payments and the cost of building its security devices.

The company announced the revised forecast Oct. 20. It expects monthly revenue to exceed operating cash costs starting in January. A separate goal calls for covering all monthly cash requirements in the second calendar quarter of 2027.

AITX expects to use outside financing until it reaches that broader goal, but the timeline does not guarantee financing will end then. The company may still need outside funding afterward if revenue and cash collections differ from expectations.

Under the plan, monthly cash spending is projected to fall by about $345,000 in January compared with the August 2026 monthly expense run rate. The projected reduction rises to more than $350,000 beginning in February. Planned savings include workforce and vendor cuts, as well as deferred salary payments that AITX will still owe.

The forecast assumes monthly revenue growth of about 2.7%, faster than the company’s growth over the preceding 12 months. AITX had previously targeted positive operating cash flow in December 2026. The company has not reported an annual profit and plans to provide updates on both cash targets.
