Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Inc. staked an additional 159,728 Ether (ETH), raising the share of its reported holdings committed to Ethereum validation to 86.5% as the company expands its staking position.

The new stake was valued at about $390.6 million. Bitmine’s staked balance now totals about 5.23 million ETH, valued at roughly $12.78 billion. Those dollar figures reflect the valuation used for the latest on-chain tally; the value of the coins changes with ETH’s price.

The latest stake brought Bitmine’s reported staked holdings to about 5.23 million ETH. Its staked share was about 84% in the earlier snapshot.

Bitmine has accumulated and staked ETH. Its holdings represented about 4.9% of ETH supply. Staking commits ETH to help validate transactions on Ethereum and can generate rewards.
