Anthropic co-founder and CEO Dario Amodei received about $18 million in 2025 compensation, while co-founder and President Daniela Amodei received about $16.5 million as the company took steps toward a potential public listing.

Anthropic announced June 1 that it had confidentially submitted a draft S-1 registration statement to the SEC. The submission is a step toward a potential initial public offering, but an offering remains conditional. No listing date or final valuation has been confirmed.

The company recorded a net loss of about $80.7 billion in the first half of 2026, compared with $13 billion in the first half of 2025. About $72 billion of the 2026 loss was a noncash accounting charge, meaning the full reported loss did not represent cash spent during the period.
