Standard Chartered has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all of crypto custodian Zodia Custody, pending regulatory approval.

Standard Chartered plans to acquire 100% of Zodia Custody.

After the deal closes, Zodia Custody’s custody business is expected to become part of Standard Chartered. Zodia’s software business is planned to move to a separate company backed by SC Ventures.

The purchase still requires regulatory approval.
