Chipotle Mexican Grill recorded 2.2% growth in comparable restaurant sales for the quarter ended June 30. Average checks rose 1.2%, while transactions increased 1.0%.

Menu price increases partly offset higher food, beverage and packaging costs during the quarter.

Chipotle plans to release third-quarter results at about 4:10 p.m. ET (20:10 UTC) on Oct. 28. A conference call is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET (20:30 UTC).
