> Net interest income grew 18% year over year, while basic EPS was $1.54. The quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026.

Fidelity D & D Bancorp’s third-quarter net income climbed 21% year over year to $8.918 million, while diluted earnings reached $1.53 per share for the period ended Sept. 30, 2026.

Net income was $7.346 million and diluted EPS was $1.27 in the same quarter a year earlier. Basic EPS for the latest quarter was $1.54.

Net interest income rose 18% to $21.812 million. Higher average loan balances, improved loan yields and lower funding costs contributed to the increase. Noninterest income was $6.124 million. The two income statement lines totaled $27.936 million, a sum the company did not list separately as revenue.

Net income’s increase primarily reflected a $3.4 million rise in net interest income and a $1 million increase in noninterest income.

“We delivered record earnings in the third quarter, generating net income of $8.9 million, or $1.53 per diluted share,” said Daniel J. Santaniello, president and chief executive officer.

Fidelity D & D Bancorp is the parent company of Fidelity Bank, which operates 21 full-service offices in four Pennsylvania counties and a wealth-management office in Schuylkill County.
