> Revenue rose 12% from Q2 but fell 10% year over year; net profit reached 755.6 billion won.

LG Display returned to operating profit in Q3 with an unaudited 250.6 billion won result, reversing its Q2 loss as seasonal OLED shipments supported sales.

Unaudited revenue for the three months ended Sept. 30 was 6.277 trillion won. That was 12% above Q2 but 10% below Q3 2025. Operating profit was down from 431 billion won a year earlier, a 42% decline.

Net profit totaled 755.6 billion won, compared with a net loss of 419 billion won in Q2. Improved foreign-exchange results contributed to the increase.

Shipments of large and mobile OLED panels rose during the seasonal peak. Fewer mid-sized LCD panels shipped as LG Display shifted its product mix toward more profitable products, contributing to the annual revenue decline.

A stronger won and higher semiconductor costs weighed on results. A larger share of higher-value OLED products and improved operating efficiency helped restore operating profit.

“Despite continued uncertainty in the external business environment, including exchange-rate and component-price fluctuations, we focused on strengthening our business competitiveness and improving operational efficiency in the third quarter,” said Sung-hyun Kim, LG Display’s CFO.
