> Peacock recorded $261 million in adjusted EBITDA, and Comcast is targeting mid-2027 to separate NBCUniversal and Sky.

Comcast’s third-quarter results showed growth in its Media business alongside continued customer losses and lower revenue in Connectivity & Platforms, the broadband-focused segment expected to remain with the company after a planned separation.

Adjusted diluted earnings were $1.07 per share for the quarter ended Sept. 30, down 4% from a year earlier. Reported diluted earnings rose 7.2% to 97 cents per share. Revenue totaled $29.298 billion, a 6.1% decline from the year-earlier quarter.

A pro forma comparison that accounts for the Versant separation and the sale of Sky’s German operations showed revenue up 0.5% from $29.151 billion. Comcast completed the Versant separation on Jan. 2, 2026, and the sale of Sky’s German operations on May 31, 2026.

Media revenue increased 13% to $5.359 billion. The segment recorded $224 million in incremental FIFA World Cup revenue; without that amount, Media revenue grew 8.3%. Peacock had 48 million paid subscribers, up 17% year over year, and generated $261 million in adjusted EBITDA on $1.8 billion in revenue. The quarter marked Peacock’s second consecutive quarter of positive adjusted EBITDA.

Connectivity & Platforms revenue declined 2.7% to $19.663 billion. Comcast recorded net losses of 144,000 domestic residential broadband customers and 274,000 domestic video customers, while adding 368,000 domestic wireless lines on a net basis. In the previous quarter, the company recorded 167,000 net losses in domestic residential broadband customers in its [Q2 broadband results](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/37348>).

Theme Parks revenue fell 4.4% to $2.597 billion, and adjusted EBITDA declined 17.1% to $780 million. Studios revenue decreased 1.1% to $2.967 billion, while its adjusted EBITDA rose 18.6% to $402 million.

Comcast aims to separate NBCUniversal and Sky through a proposed tax-free transaction by mid-2027, creating a new publicly traded company. The transaction remains subject to board approval, tax opinions, regulatory approvals and financing arrangements. Comcast may retain up to 19.9% of the separated company for up to one year.
