> Revenue grew 13.8% to €150.3 million, while average customer acquisition cost rose 45.5% to €88.

flatexDEGIRO SE’s preliminary third-quarter 2026 results showed net profit climbing 29.2% to €50.3 million, while gross new customer accounts dropped 25.7%, highlighting a split between profitability and customer additions.

Revenue for the three months through Sept. 30 was €150.3 million, compared with €132 million a year earlier. Net profit rose from €39 million. Interest income increased 32.8% to €55.9 million, while commission income grew 5.9% to €89.4 million. Operating profit advanced 22.9% to €70.8 million.

The average cost to acquire a customer reached €88, up 45.5% from €60 in the third quarter of 2025. Gross new customer accounts totaled 74,300, down from 100,100 a year earlier. The total number of customer accounts, by contrast, rose 10% to 3.72 million.

Settled transactions reached 19.2 million, an 8.2% year-over-year increase. Customer assets under custody climbed 22.6% to €112.7 billion from €91.9 billion.

For the first nine months of 2026, revenue was €490.4 million, up 19.5%, and net profit reached €165.4 million, up 37.2%. The company maintained its full-year outlook of about €650 million in revenue and net profit of €200 million to €230 million.

The quarterly results are preliminary and unaudited. flatexDEGIRO voluntarily applied IFRS 18 in 2026, ahead of its mandatory effective date for fiscal years beginning Jan. 1, 2027. The change led to minor reclassifications but did not affect reported revenue or net profit; the company presented third-quarter 2025 comparisons under the new standard.

flatexDEGIRO operates the flatex, DEGIRO and ViTrade brokerage platforms and serves customers in 16 countries. Oliver Behrens, the company’s CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, said, “Even in a seasonally slower quarter, we continued our growth and further increased profitability.”
