> The foundation had 100,352 Ether (ETH) staked across 3,136 validators as of October 2026 and has used staking yield to fund operations since 2023.

Golem Foundation began allocating part of its Ether holdings to decentralized finance (DeFi) strategies in the second half of 2026, broadening its income approach as it seeks to diversify revenue and earn more than staking alone.

As of October 2026, the foundation had 100,352 ETH staked across 3,136 validators. It began solo staking in June 2023, and staking yield has funded its operations since that year.

Octant’s total distributions top 5,487 ETH across Ethereum builders and the GLM community, with public-goods initiatives receiving over 3,649 ETH. Initially, Octant gave GLM holders a vote on how a portion of treasury yield would be spent. The program now works on shared funding systems for other treasuries.
