The purchases totaled $151 million in the third quarter. SpaceX recorded the Megapack purchases as property, plant and equipment. The figures cover the first nine months of the year and the quarter that ended Sept. 30. Tesla recognized $221 million in revenue from Megapack sales to SpaceX in the third quarter and $626 million for the first nine months. At quarter-end, Tesla had $729 million in receivables from SpaceX. That total included $588 million tied to Megapacks that had not yet been delivered.
